OVERVIEW
Yukuriyu, which means "Snow Dragon," is a beautiful tanto, or short sword, that shows Japan's skill in making swords. The 12-inch blade is made from strong manganese steel and has a nice flame pattern on the polished edge. This shows the careful work put into making it. The blade is very hard, rated at 60 HRC, so it can cut through iron without getting dull. The black finish adds to its strong look, and the blade stays strong even under pressure.
Yukuriyu is 55 cm long overall, with a 33 cm blade and a 17 cm handle. It is not just a weapon; it also represents the spirit of the samurai. Weighing about 0.7 kg, it feels balanced and is great for practicing or showing off.
