OVERVIEW
The Hachimen Seiryu, or 'Eight-Faced Spirit Dragon', shows the skill of traditional Japanese sword-making. Made from T10 steel, this katana has a hand-polished blade that goes through 18 steps of grinding for a shiny finish. The blade is very hard, reaching 60 HRC, which lets it cut through iron easily without losing its sharpness.
The sword is 103 cm long, with a blade that is 71 cm long and 3.2 cm wide. The Hachimen Seiryu is strong and flexible. The hilt is wrapped in beautiful pearl fish skin, and it has finely carved pure copper pieces. The scabbard is made from solid wood, nicely painted with a dragon design, showing the rich culture of the samurai. This katana is a symbol of the skill and lasting legacy of its makers.
