The Katanakai Yume, also called 和道一文字, shows the great skill of Japanese sword-making. This katana is made from high-quality Damascus steel, which has a special pattern created by folding and hammering the metal. It is very hard, with a hardness of 60 HRC, so it keeps its sharp edge even against tough materials.
The tsuba, or hand guard, is made of pure copper and has detailed designs that show the skill of the craftspeople. It can bend 90 degrees and still return to its original shape. The katana is 103 centimeters long, with a blade that is 71 centimeters long. The handle is 26 centimeters, making it easy to hold. The blade is 3.2 centimeters wide, giving it a strong look.
