OVERVIEW
The Kinkai no Tachi, or "金碧辉煌", shows the great skill in Japanese sword-making. Made from strong manganese steel, this katana is very tough and can bend up to 90 degrees without breaking. With a blade hardness of 60 HRC, it cuts well, even through iron, without losing its sharpness.
The sword is 103 centimeters long, with a 71-centimeter blade and a 26.5-centimeter handle. It is both useful and beautiful. The blade is 3.2 centimeters wide, and the sword weighs 1.26 kilograms. The fine craftsmanship includes a pure copper decorative set and a handle wrapped in real pearl fish skin, showing the careful detail of traditional Japanese swords.
