Kinkaku no Tachi, known as "富贵满堂," is a special katana that shows the rich history of Japanese sword-making. It is 103 cm long, with a blade that is 71 cm. This beautiful sword has a blade made from Damascus steel, which has unique patterns that come from an old crafting method. The core steel is T10 and is carefully made using the Sanmai method, making it strong and beautiful.
The blade goes through fifteen polishing steps by hand, giving it a sharp edge that shows the artisan's skill. The handle and scabbard are made from solid wood and wrapped in fine pearl fish skin. The scabbard is painted with a traditional blue lacquer, showing great craftsmanship. The fittings, like the tsuba, have brass details that make the sword look even better.
