OVERVIEW
The Kirin no Kagami, or "Cloud Dragon Mirror Blade," shows the great skill of Japanese sword makers. Made from strong manganese steel, this katana can bend up to 90 degrees without breaking. It has a hardness of 60 HRC, allowing it to cut through iron while keeping its sharp edge. The sword is 103 centimeters long, with a blade that is 71 centimeters long, a handle that is 26.5 centimeters long, and a blade width of 3.2 centimeters.
The blade is carefully hand-forged and polished to a bright mirror finish, showing the skill of traditional methods. The handle is covered with black pearl fish skin and has beautiful pure copper fittings with gold designs. The scabbard is made of lacquered wood that looks like shell and comes with a special, well-designed sageo. The Kirin no Kagami is more than just a weapon; it represents the spirit and history of the samurai.
