OVERVIEW
The Matsumoto Ichiro no Tachi is a special katana, made with great care and skill in traditional Japanese sword-making. The blade is made from strong manganese steel, which keeps its shape even with heavy use. A special heat treatment makes the blade very hard, reaching 60 HRC, so it can cut through iron without getting dull.
The katana is 103 centimeters long, with a 71-centimeter blade and a width of 3.2 centimeters. It is both beautiful and practical. The handle is 26 centimeters long, designed for a good grip, and has a zinc alloy tsuba.
