OVERVIEW
The Mokuyo Katanas are a great mix of tradition and skill in making Japanese swords. Each blade is carefully made from T10 steel, known for being very strong and sharp. The katana has a shiny finish, created through 18 grinding steps, showing the artisan's talent.
With a hardness rating of 60 HRC, these swords can take a lot of impact without losing their sharp edge, balancing strength and flexibility. The long katana is 103 cm long, with a 72 cm blade. The shorter version is 55 cm long, with a 33 cm blade. Both swords come with high-quality fittings made from zinc alloy and are kept in a traditional wooden scabbard with beautiful cordwork.
