The Ryuen Katana, called the "Dragon Flame Sword," shows the rich art of Japanese sword-making. This katana has a blade made from high-quality Damascus steel, known for its special stone-like pattern and strength. It is 103 cm long in total, with a blade length of 72 cm. The blade is 0.7 cm thick and 3.2 cm wide, weighing about 1.25 kg. The blade is very hard, reaching 60 HRC, which makes it strong and sharp. It can bend 90 degrees and then return to its original shape, showing the skill of its maker.
The sword has a beautifully crafted pure copper tsuba and comes with a traditional lacquered wooden scabbard that has dragon designs, representing the spirit and bravery of the samurai. The handle is hand-wrapped, highlighting the katana's connection to history and expert craftsmanship.
