OVERVIEW
The Ryuki Goketsu is a special katana known for its Japanese craftsmanship. It is 103 cm long, with a blade that is 71 cm long and 3.2 cm wide, weighing about 1.54 kg. The blade is made from Damascus steel using an ancient three-piece forging method, making it strong and beautiful. The core of the blade is T10 steel, and it is polished by hand in fifteen steps to achieve a traditional look.
The handle, or tsuka, is wrapped in real silk and has beautiful pearl fish skin for a classy grip. The saya, or sheath, is made of solid wood, shiny with lacquer, and decorated with detailed mother-of-pearl designs. Each part of the Ryuki Goketsu shows amazing skill and the deep cultural value of making katanas.
