This sword is made from high carbon steel, keeping the classic look of tamahagane. The blade has a beautiful curve and is treated with a special blue process to make it very hard, reaching 60 HRC. It is 0.7 cm thick and 3.2 cm wide, which gives it a good balance of strength and speed, weighing about 1.25 kg. The handle is wrapped by hand and has pure copper fittings, while the wooden scabbard is nicely lacquered.
