OVERVIEW
The 'Seiryu no Getsumei', or 'Clear Breeze and Bright Moon', is a beautiful katana that shows the fine art of Japanese sword-making. The blade is made from strong T10 steel, which is very hard and tough, reaching a hardness of 60 HRC. It goes through 18 steps of hand-polishing to give it a shiny, mirror-like finish.
The katana is 103 cm long overall, with a 71 cm blade. It is both stylish and useful, with a blade width of 3.2 cm. The hilt is wrapped in real rayskin and cord for a good grip. The fittings are made of pure copper, matching the nice lacquered wooden scabbard. The 'Seiryu no Getsumei' shows the skill and artistry of its maker and honors the spirit of the samurai.
