The Seiryu no Tachi, or "青棠", is a beautiful Japanese sword. It is made from special Wootz steel that has a unique pattern. The sword is 103 cm long, with a blade that is 71 cm long and weighs about 1.38 kg. The blade has a special engraving on one side and has been polished by hand fifteen times using traditional Japanese methods.
The sword's decorations are made of finely carved pure copper, with gold and silver finishes. The handle is wrapped in real fish skin.
