OVERVIEW
The Seiryu Tachi, also called 瑞鹤吉祥, shows the great skill of Japanese sword-making. It is 103 cm long, with a blade that is 71 cm long, 3.2 cm wide, and a handle that is 27 cm long, weighing about 1.48 kg. Made from T10 steel using an old method called clay tempering, the blade has a unique grain pattern that shows its fine craftsmanship. The handle is wrapped with pearl fish skin, and the scabbard is decorated with beautiful urushi lacquer and a detailed design with cow horn accents. The Seiryu Tachi is a great example of the art and history of samurai swords, making it a special item for collectors and fans.
