OVERVIEW
The 'Senba no Ken,' or 'Thousand Wings,' is a beautifully made katana that shows the rich history of Japanese sword making. It is made from strong Damascus steel, which has a unique stone-washed pattern. This pattern comes from a careful process of folding and hammering the metal, making the blade very hard at 60 HRC. The blade is tough enough for battle and can bend at 90 degrees but will go back to its original shape easily.
The sword is 103 cm long, with a 71 cm blade and a 26 cm handle. It balances well and is easy to use because it is 3.2 cm wide and weighs 2.64 lbs. The sword has iron fittings and a beautifully painted wooden scabbard, making it not just a weapon but also a piece of art that honors the samurai spirit.
