OVERVIEW
The 'Senbonzakura' katana shows the great tradition of Japanese sword making by combining old methods with modern materials. Made from strong manganese steel, the blade has a beautiful deep blue-purple color from a special heat treatment. It is very durable and can bend up to 90 degrees without breaking, while still being hard enough to cut through iron without losing its edge.
The katana is 103 cm long, with a 71 cm blade and a 26.5 cm handle. It is both a weapon and a piece of art. The blade is 3.2 cm wide and weighs 1.26 kg, giving it a good balance for easy handling.
