OVERVIEW
The 'Yamato no Kami' katana, called '柳神', shows the rich tradition of Japanese craftsmanship. It is 103 cm long, with a blade that is 71 cm. The blade is 3.2 cm wide, and the handle is 27 cm long. Made from T10 steel, it has a special T-shaped hamon that comes from old forging methods. The blade is carefully hand-polished in eighteen steps, making it very sharp and beautiful.
The handle, or tsuka, is wrapped in pearl fish skin, giving it a nice look and a good grip. The sheath, or saya, is made from quality green leather wood and has a shiny finish. It uses a detailed 'Yunli Silk' crafting method. The fittings include a koshirae with yellow cow horn, adding to its historical feel.
