OVERVIEW
The Yukimeika, or "Snow Plum Fragrance," is a traditional Japanese sword called a katana. It is made from strong manganese steel, which means it can bend at a 90-degree angle without breaking. The blade has a unique black finish with beautiful fire patterns along the edge and is very hard, rated at 60 HRC. The whole katana is 103 centimeters long, with the blade being 71 centimeters long and 3.2 centimeters wide. It weighs about 1.2 kilograms. The handle has a zinc alloy guard and a nicely made wooden sheath. The Yukimeika shows the rich history and skill of samurai swords, combining both usefulness and beauty.
