OVERVIEW
'Echigawa no Tsurugi' shows the skill of traditional Japanese sword-making. Made from T10 steel, this tanto is 55 cm long, with a blade measuring 33 cm. It is polished by hand in 18 steps, highlighting ancient techniques. Each blade has a unique hamon, created using a special clay method.
The blade is very strong, rated at 60 HRC, and can cut through iron without losing its sharpness. The hilt is wrapped in real pearl fish skin and has gold and silver details, making it both beautiful and easy to hold. The scabbard looks like fish skin and has cow horn inlays, showing a mix of strength and beauty. The 'Echigawa no Tsurugi' represents the rich history and lasting legacy of the samurai.
