OVERVIEW
Kagerou no Tachi, also known as "化蝶," is a beautiful Japanese sword that shows off the country's sword-making history. This tanto is 55 cm long, with a blade that measures 33 cm. It is made from high-quality Damascus steel, which has pretty patterns from traditional folding methods. The core is made from strong T10 steel, giving it strength and durability. The blade goes through fifteen careful hand-grinding steps to make it very sharp.
The handle is wrapped in pearl fish skin and has a special copper guard called a tsuba, showing the skill of the makers. The scabbard is made from blue-skin wood and has hand-painted designs. It also has yellow cow horn decorations at the ends, which make it look even better. Weighing about 0.84 kg, Kagerou no Tachi is not just a weapon; it is a symbol of the samurai's skilled craftsmanship, blending beauty and usefulness that has lasted through time.
