Kagetsu no Tsubasa is a special tanto, or small sword, that shows the great skill of Japanese sword makers. It is 55 cm long, with a blade that is 33 cm long and weighs about 0.84 kg. The blade is made of high-quality Damascus steel with a core of T10 iron. It has a unique pattern made using a careful traditional method and a sharp edge that has been polished through fifteen steps. The handle is wrapped in real pearl fish skin, making it both pretty and easy to hold. The scabbard is made from blue leather wood and has beautiful lacquer work with yellow cow horn designs.
