OVERVIEW
The Kurotama is a tanto-style knife made with great skill from T10 steel. It has a 12-inch blade that uses an old method called clay tempering, giving it a shiny finish from 18 careful grinding steps. The knife is 55 cm long in total, with a 33 cm blade, making it strong and tough. The blade is 3.2 cm wide and 0.6 cm thick, weighing about 0.68 kg.
