OVERVIEW
The Skyward Mirrored Tanto shows off the skill of traditional Japanese sword-making. It is 55 cm long, with a 33 cm blade made from strong manganese steel. This steel is very tough and can stay sharp, reaching a hardness of 60 HRC, which means it can cut through iron without getting dull. The blade is carefully shaped by hand and can bend up to 90 degrees without breaking.
The handle is wrapped in real pearl fish skin, making it both beautiful and easy to hold. It also has a finely made pure copper fitting and a solid wood sheath that is shiny. This tanto is a great example of the art and skill found in Japanese sword-making.
