OVERVIEW
Yusen no Ken, or "幽泉", is a special tanto, a type of Japanese knife. It is made from Damascus steel, which has a beautiful twisted pattern. This pattern comes from a careful process of folding and hammering the metal, making the blade strong and pretty. The blade has a hardness rating of 60 HRC, meaning it can cut through iron without getting dull.
The tanto is 12 inches long, with a blade that is 33 centimeters and a handle that is 17 centimeters long. The blade is 3.2 centimeters wide. It weighs about 0.72 kilograms, which gives it a good balance of being strong but still flexible enough to bend up to 90 degrees and return to its original shape.
