OVERVIEW
The Ryujin no Tsume is a special wakizashi, or short sword, made in the traditional Japanese style. Its blade is made from strong Damascus steel, which is hard enough to cut through iron easily and stay sharp. The sword is 20 inches long, with a 52-centimeter blade and a 23-centimeter handle. The blade has a unique folded pattern, showing the skill of the makers. It comes in a wooden sheath covered with dragon-patterned leather. The Ryujin no Tsume represents the proud history of the samurai.
