OVERVIEW
The Taira no Tachi, called '帝江', is a special type of Wakizashi sword. It shows the skill and art of Japanese sword-making. The sword is 78 cm long, with a 52 cm blade and a 23 cm handle. The blade is 3.2 cm wide and made from Damascus steel, known for its beautiful patterns. It is hand-forged and polished to be very sharp.
The sword's fittings are made of pure copper and have lovely gold and silver designs. The handle is wrapped in real ray skin, which makes it strong and nice to look at. The scabbard is made from blue leather wood, partly covered with black ray skin, and has horn details that give it a classic look.
