The 'Kongu Yoran' is a special katana that shows the rich history of Japanese sword-making. It is 103 cm long, with a blade that is 71 cm. This sword is made from fine Damascus steel, which is created by folding steel to make it stronger and more beautiful. The center of the blade is T10 steel, covered in patterned steel, showing the skill of old sword makers.
The blade is 3.2 cm wide and weighs 1.42 kg, balancing strength and accuracy well. Each sword goes through a detailed process of fifteen manual grindings, giving it a sharp edge that is both useful and pretty. The handle, wrapped in real pearl fish skin, is made for a good grip. The saya, or sheath, is made from solid wood and finished with traditional urushi lacquer, featuring detailed Japanese designs. The 'Kongu Yoran' is a symbol of the art and history of the samurai.
