OVERVIEW
The 'Kaze no Tachi', also called 'Ma Dao Gong Cheng', is a special tanto knife made from T10 steel. It has a blade that is 33 cm long and an overall length of 55 cm. This beautiful knife shows the skills of traditional Japanese sword-making, using a clay tempering process that makes it strong and sharp.
The blade has a unique three-color design, created by 17 careful hand-polishing steps, which gives it great hardness and strength. It is 3.2 cm wide and 0.6 cm thick, weighing about 0.88 kg. The handle is covered with real pearl fish skin, and the scabbard has a shiny lacquer finish with two yellow horn decorations. The 'Kaze no Tachi' shows the art and skill of Japanese craftsmanship and has a rich history.
