OVERVIEW
The Yamitsuki is a special wakizashi, a type of Japanese sword. It is made from medium carbon steel and uses a unique 50# steel forging process. This sword is treated using traditional methods that make it very hard, reaching a hardness of 58 HRC. Because of this, the Yamitsuki can cut through iron without losing its sharpness and can slice bamboo just like a chef's knife.
The sword is 74 cm long in total, with a 48 cm blade that is 0.7 cm thick. It is designed to look good and work well. The handle is 23 cm long, giving you a strong grip, and it is made in a traditional style that respects its history.
